We continue to get asked about when individual songs will be available for download; we always know when a particular company has picked up the right to sell our individual downloads, but we never know when they will be finished with the process of getting them ready. It takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months, and obviously goes faster if you're Kelly Clarkson or somebody, but longer if you're us. All you can do is check every once in a while. We made this one easy by making the album name the same as the band name, so your search would be uncomplicated. One drawback to my brainstorm "Blackbirds" (it was really late, I was putting down guitar tracks half-asleep, I heard a bird outside disturbing the recording process, and I thought "Beatles"! All make sense, right?); I never thought we'd appear on the same page with "4 and 20 blackbirds baked in a pie", but hey... We'll occasionally put a couple of songs available for free download on the website, but of course that doesn't make us any money (actually, nothing really makes us any money as we use the proceeds to produce the music or donate to a cause) Good news: Claire is due back later this week (I hope) so we'll have a couple new songs ready soon. One is written ready to go. other is about half-finished (I think). Thanks for listening and thanks for asking about the music. If you're coming out on Saturday, bring friends - we're trying to raise at least $1,000 for Dr Cohen's work in Rwanda.
